Mahek Bukhari, a former TikTok and Instagram influencer, has been sentenced to a minimum term of 31 years and eight months in prison. The 24-year-old was sentenced to life, alongside her mother Ansreen Bukhari, 46, for murdering two men who died when their car was rammed off the road. Her mother will serve at least 26 years and nine months. In his sentencing, Judge Timothy Spencer KC said “TikTok and Instagram lie at the heart of the case”.
