John Joyce, aged 26, of Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, was charged with two counts of theft and one count each of failing to stop for police and careless driving on Wednesday (30/8).

The first theft charge relates to an incident in Botley on May 16.

The second theft charge relates to an incident at Launton Road in Bicester on August 15.

Charges relating to failing to stop for police and careless driving occurred on Weirs Lane in Oxford on Tuesday (August 29) at around 3.30pm.

Joyce was arrested and charged on Wednesday (August 30) but has since been bailed.

He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates Court on September 14.
