That was our latest weekly theme and club members did not disappoint – they sent in lots of quirky photos from around the county.
Some of them were of well-known locations but taken from an unusual angle, or showing off a hidden historic treasure.

Mark Guschtscha’s photo of a special sign at the Lamb & Flag did exactly that so we are choosing it as our photo of the week.
Mr Guschtscha’ s snapped a sign in the Lamb & Flag in St Giles which some drinkers may have missed.
He said:” It’s above a door at the Lamb & Flag. An easily missed sign that reads, in Elvish scipt, “Pedo mellon a minno” – “Say friend and enter”.
Fantasy writer JJR Tolkien, who created Elvish languages, sometimes drank in the Lamb & Flag.
The pub closed during the pandemic but was reopened last year by a community interest group called the Inklings.
Tolkien was a member of the writers’ group the Inklings which met in the Eagle and Child opposite the Lamb & Flag.
The next weekly theme is animals or birds.
